Superheroes: Pre-school Education
Play, Play and more Play!
Play is essential for learning especially at preschool age. Learning happens through play in the Early Years, and we truly believe that when children are engaged, excited and follow their own interests they learn at a rapid pace. With this in mind, we have ensured that our pre-school curriculum encourages collaborative and cooperative play, allowing children to deepen and extend their thinking and understanding by combining what they have learnt already with new skills and ways of doing things.
Our preschool has been designed to ensure we cover all seven areas of learning of the Early Year’s Foundation Stage (EYFS), in a play-based environment, where children can make choices, be an individual and celebrate who they are.

Getting school ready
Pre-school is a significant year in a child’s life. Our Superhero group is designed to provide your child with the skills they need; from recognising their name to serving themselves during lunch.
With very playful and short interventions, we are introducing Read Write Inc phonics to our school leavers in their summer before school. This way we move smoothly towards small adult directed tasks.
Our preschool leaders are highly qualified, experienced teachers who have been preparing children for school for years.
We support families every step of the way.
We pride ourselves on the relationships we have made the local schools, ensuring that our children continue to make progress when they leave us and continue to do so throughout their reception year.
